Then give the date for freezing the estimate. Generally experienced devs have a gut feel about a task, they can quote that estimate as the first approximate estimate and use that to ask for time to build the work breakdown and come up with a better estimate. And you can help your stakeholders understand that first estimate has higher error margins and the detailed one will have lower error margins.
